Hindi movie dialogues that might inspire you

When you watch a cinematic piece of art, you go through various rounds of emotions. Especially when it's a Bollywood or Hindi cinema film, you will leave theatres laughing, crying, thinking and sometimes getting motivated as well. When we talk about getting inspired, there are a very few times some dialogues send a chill down your spine. It helps you drive yourself to hard work and be passionate about what you're going to do even if you have to start from the very scratch. Here are a few dialogues from ten different films which might inspire you:-

         Satya (1998)

Satya is a Ram Gopal Verma film

" Karna hai, to Karna hai"

It means that if you wanna do something, you gotta do it at all costs and put your heart into making it a success. It was a dialogue by Manoj Bajpayee who played Bhiku Matre in the film and the character is still remembered as one of the greatest performances Indian cinema has ever seen!

Swades (2004)

Swades stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead

"Apne hi paani main pighal Jaana barf ka muqaddar Hota hai"

It is the destiny of ice to melt in its own water, how deep is this dialogue? Swades is basically a film about a guy who stays abroad, comes back home for a break, falls in love with his roots and his mindset changes entirely. This dialogue suggests the fact that your roots will always stay close to your heart, no matter where you settle at the end of the day!

         Lakshya (2004)

Lakshya stars Hrithik Roshan

"Dekho Duniya main kaam koyi Bhi Karo, Achi Tarah Karna jaroori hai"

How important is this to preach? Most people believe that you need to be the COO of some company or a big-time politician and millions in your bank account but all it matters is what satisfies you the most. You need to put yourself the very best into whatever you do and then the sky's the limit. Lakshya is a brilliant film to help you address your inner self.

Yuva (2004)

Yuva is a Mani Ratnam film

"Century Banane ke Liye shuruvat Pehle run se Karni padti hai"

It's a criminally underrated piece of art which would have surely entertained the youth of India. This dialogue proves a point which all of us need to think about as well. If you want to become something, you got to take those small steps and stay affirm to achieve your objective at the same point of time.

Taare Zameen Par (2007)

Taare Zameen Par is the directorial debut of Aamir Khan

"Har Bache ki Apni khoobi Hoti hai, apni kaabiliyat hoti hai, apni chahat hoti hai"

Today's kids have to suffer through peer pressure which happens to give rise to mental health problems. Taare Zameen Par is a beautiful concept which states something that should be obvious but sadly, it is not. Every kid is not good at academics and as parents, it is your duty to understand what your kid is best at!

     Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta from Dil Chahta Hai

"Perfection ko improve Karna mushkil hota hai"

Perfection is a difficult thing to improve, says the dialogue from a coming of the age, a cult film from 2001 called Dil Chahta Hai. A very straightforward dialogue but there is something about it which need to be understood. If you have done something amazing in one go, do not ruin it by going for a second chance at it.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a Zoya Akhtar film

"Seize the day my friend. Pehle is din ko poori tarah jiyo, phir chaalis ke bare mein sochna"

This states something which applies to all the people running after making their future bright. In order to make your future amazing, you need to live your present to the best you can. No one knows what your future will be like so you better live your life to the fullest at the present itself! Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a must-watch if you need a feel-good movie experience.

    Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013)

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a Dharma Productions film

"Kahin pahunchne ke liye kahin se nikalna bohot jaruri hai"

It is something that's inevitable in life. If you wanna get somewhere, you got to sacrifice something, that's the basic rule of thumb. Life tests your guts, your patience and your decisions time and again but you need to be fearless in order to succeed in your life. It is conveyed handsomely in this dialogue from this 2013 blockbuster!

Haider (2014)

A still of Shahid Kapoor from Haider

"Inteqam see Sirf inteqam paida hota hai"

Haider is a film which explains the fact that an eye for an eye is never a good option. If you look to take revenge from someone and even be successful at it, you will only get revenge in return and it will spread nothing but hate. This is how things are going between India and Pakistan right now and most recently, India and China as well.

Baby (2015)

"Har Jung border par Nahin hoti"

Some people might feel that the most intense battles occur on the border of a country. But there are many more contests going within the same. This is where crime branches and special investigation teams come to the rescue. Sadly, however, no one knows or gives a damn about them. Baby is a film that will help you know further regarding the same sort of units.
