Sadak 2 Trailer: Why so much of hate for the film?

Sadak 2 trailer is about to breach past 6 million dislikes as I make this post. It's been a rough couple of months for the entire Bollywood ever since the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. People are irate and they have taken out their frustration on social media platforms insulting nepotism products time and again. Has Sadak 2 fallen to the same trap too or is there some other reason that it is going to walk into Guinness world records for all the wrong reasons? Let's find out!

The Bhatt family

The biggest reason of them all why Sadak 2 will eventually become the most hated film of all time in Hindi cinema is the people who have the biggest stakes in the film, Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt who are the director and producer of the film respectively. Mukesh Bhatt claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput was depressed for a long time and he was going to commit suicide one day or the other which people didn't take wholeheartedly and whacked him all over. While Mahesh Bhatt allegedly has a really close relationship with Rhea Chakravarty who happens to be the biggest villain in the eyes of people right now! 

But that's not all, Alia Bhatt is herself getting a lot of hate on social media for saying things about Sushant Singh Rajput on Koffee with Karan. It all adds up to the fuel as the fans of Sushant are in rage mode at the moment. These couple of things have affected the film severely for sure. 

Bad editing 

Some people might say that Sadak 2 is getting all the bashing just because of the Bhatt family equation in SSR death case but perception can change if you give the audience enough reasons to completely forget what they feel about the people associated with the film and focus on the content. They had to make at least a hundred times better trailer cut than they did. It was a lazy attempt at a trailer and they have to face the repercussions for it. 

Forgettable music 

This is the least that they could have gotten right. I mean I understand that they don't have a great story in hand. It can still be understood that the editing of the trailer couldn't have been any better because there's nothing that film has got to offer otherwise. But music is something that they had to get right here. Sadak was a huge hit mostly for its music. Sadak 2 had to follow the same path at all costs. It didn't and guess what? They are paying a good price for it.

No depth in characters 

Sanjay Dutt had been pretty awesome in the first film of the franchise that was released almost 3 decades back. But when you look at him here, there's nothing about him that seems interesting. Sadak 2 brings in Aditya Roy Kapoor and Alia Bhatt into the mix and both of them are really talented themselves but there's literally nothing interesting about their characters either. There are a few points where Alia's character tries to turn on the heat but terrible dialogues don't do any favour. Is the trailer cut absolutely terrible and there's some substance in there? No one really knows unless someone checks the film out and it really takes him/her by surprise, although, the chances are unlikely!

10M dislikes on the cards?

The film has already hit about 6 million dislikes within 24 hours. There's a huge chance that it enters the 10M dislikes club which will make it just the 3rd YouTube video to achieve the feat. In the entertainment businesses, "Baby" by Justin Bieber hit 11M dislikes but it has 14M likes to show off at the same point of time. It is not the same case with Sadak 2 which has 94.82% of dislikes amongst all its reactions, much more than any other video which has been hated to death by YouTube audience.
